The Summer Splash is in Full Swing and Our Young Mutts are on the Move!!

Summer is here, and our dogs are splashing all over the country!

We started off July in Emlenton, PA at the town’s annual Summer Festival. Kara, D and Chris had three great days of shows, and the people of Emlenton were some of the nicest, most dog-loving-est people ever. This was our first year in Emlenton, and the dogs were a huge hit!

Nadja and her crew were at the Oakland County Fair from July 7-16. Ten days of fair fun in glorious Davisburg, MI, with special guest star Jason Rigler. We love the Oakland County Fair. We had a new space on the fairgrounds this year, and it was perfect. The dogs jumped, ran and splashed, and our baby dog, Boo-Ya started dock diving. This little Kelpie we adopted from Amiable Acres is going to be amazing!

The Ocean County Fair in Bayville, NJ was next on tap for Kara and her team. The dogs loved it, especially Mambo! Mambo is a terrier mix we adopted from Bully Project in New York City in the fall of 2015. Mambo made his agility debut in a show at the Ocean County Fair, almost 2 years after we adopted him. His training has taken a little longer than usual, but it has been worth the wait. This sweet, adorable terrier is a joy to work with, and we are happy to share his joy with the rest of the world. His training continues, but look for a Mambo appearance coming your way sometime in the near future! Special thanks to Jeremy Barnhill for capturing the Mambo magic on camera and for all your help at this event!

Mambo weaves in a show! This is a reason to celebrate!!!

Christina, D and Chris were lucky to spend July 13-23 at the Bluegrass Fair in Lexington, KY. This was our first year in Lexington, and it was marvelous! We had a beautiful performance area (the bluegrass was perfect), and a packed house at every single show. We also had some young dogs breaking through at this fair. Christina’s Cobra and Vyper made huge strides in dock diving, and D and Chris’s littles, Ultra and Sushi, stepped up to show they are ready to play with the big dogs!

Our summer is off to a great start! It’s so exciting to see our young dogs learning so much and thriving in so many different environments. Next on tap – the Harford County Farm Fair in Bel Air, MD, the Bedford County Fair in Bedford, PA, and the Marshall County Fair in Moundsville, WV.

Thanks for all the love, Lexington, KY! We love the Bluegrass Fair!

Hope to see you all at the Fair!! It’s going to be a splash!
